Dentistry
Lameness
Dentistry is one of Dr Pedersen's passions. She routinely attends advanced dentistry training to keep up to date on treatment options and techniques. Our dentistry service focuses on the oral health of your horse, ensuring their teeth are in optimal condition. Through thorough dental examinations, routine floating, and dental treatments, we aim to prevent dental issues and improve your horse's overall well-being and performance. In the event of a dental abnormality we are able to take dental xrays, perform dental extractions or treat sinus conditions.

X-ray
We use a state-of-the-art Cannon radiology system, which is fully battery operated allowing radiology in any situation. This allows us to offer precise and accurate diagnostic imaging for dental abnormalities, lameness and pre-purchase exams. Enabling us to create effective treatment plans tailored to your horse's needs.
Our Lameness service is dedicated to identifying and resolving soundness or poor performance concerns in your horse. With advanced diagnostic techniques and a comprehensive approach, we assess and treat musculoskeletal problems, helping your horse perform at their best.
Emergency Services
Our dedicated team is available for emergency veterinary services. We understand that emergencies can happen at any time, which is why we are ready to handle urgent cases like colic, lacerations, and foaling complications. With prompt and expert care, we provide immediate attention to ensure your horse's health and well-being during critical situations. Outside of regular business hours your emergency call will be answered by a licensed veterinary technician.

Pre-purchase Exams
Diagnostic Blood Work
We have diagnostic equipment onboard with us at every call, including Stablelab SAA, lactate meter, iSTAT machine, blood glucose, IgG testing, hematocrit and total protein. This allows us to get immediate results regarding your horses condition, and treat any illness at the initial appointment.
Our Pre-purchase Exams provide a thorough evaluation of a horse's health and soundness before purchase. With a detailed examination, including thorough physical exam, lameness evaluation, medical history review, and diagnostic tests, we offer valuable insights into the horse's condition to help you make an informed decision about your investment. We also offer evaluation of radiographs by a board certified equine radiologist.
